Trust
How do I know I can trust F&A?
We have looked after many of our clients for multiple decades. They would be comfortable to share the Life Changing experience they have had working with us! Beyond this, our team and extended teams hold several industry leading degrees and titles that are governed by various compliance and ethical bodies. We take what we do very seriously!
How many clients do you look after?
We aim to offer the highest levels of service and quality, as such, we work with largely reduced client panels. Where some advisers have 500 – 800 clients, we look after just over 100 with our saturation level per advice team likely being 200.
Does F&A hold any of my money directly?
No, all investments are placed with reputable institutions. F&A never comes into direct contact with any of our clients' money.
What happens if I am dissatisfied with your solutions?
We pride ourselves in being the best. In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied, you may end our working relationship without penalty. All we ask is that constructive feedback is given so that we can learn and improve!
Do you have a succession plan in place? What happens to my solutions if something happens to F&A?
F&A has just completed the transition of Richard succeeding his Dad, Pat. Richard is in conversations with and is completing due diligence on a further succession should anything happen. Beyond this, our built strategies are designed to survive without F&A altogether.

Starting the Process and Understanding Fees
Are you able to assist me with reviewing my entire portfolio?
Yes. We prefer to review a strategy as a whole! We believe in creating efficiency for every position you hold.
Do you have client minimums?
Yes. In order to protect the quality of our services and offering as well as our client / adviser ratio, our minimum criteria is a R1m investment.
What should I bring to our first meeting?
The more the better! We know you are busy, but if possible, we find it especially useful to understand the strategy you are currently attempting to execute, as well as your personal balance sheet and budget. You are also welcome to share detailed information about the assets and liabilities you hold.
Do you charge just to see my portfolio?
No, our first meeting is a complimentary Discovery meeting. We use this time for you to get to know us better, and for us to get to know you. If we are both happy that we can work together, we would discuss a way forwards which would include a fee discussion.
How do you charge and what are your fees?
Our charges are dependent on the scope of work being undertaken. They are ordinarily a percent of assets being advised upon but can include invoicing where applicable. All costs are presented and discussed in order for you to make a considered decision.
Outsourcing
I manage my own portfolio but would like a second opinion. Is that an option?
Yes.
How involved do I need to be in the process?
Our offering is designed to take as much work as possible off of your desk! It is more suited to those looking to outsource the management of their wealth while focussing on their area of specialisation and in general just enjoying their time more!
Are you able to invest my money offshore?
Definitely. We are able to invest your money in USD, GBP and EUR, and make use of platforms domiciled in Isle of Man, Guernsey and Bermuda.
Quality of Solutions
How do I know I am working with the best teams and solutions?
Each of the associates, teams and product providers we partner with are carefully vetted to make sure they are the strongest in their field. This is an ongoing assessment which includes the option to replace them on your behalf should we be concerned with performance.
Are you aligned to and incentivised by specific providers?
Absolutely not.
Can you tailor who you work with?
Yes - We have built F&A to be uncompromising in its search for the best, this means working with many different specialists. Our partners hold no ownership interest in F&A and visa versa.
How personalised is my solution?
It is completely personalised. While we have a house view with regards to solutions, we acknowledge that every single setup is unique and requires its own subtleties and accuracies. No two clients are the same!
